PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to inform users of Holopipe about how Pointmedia (“we” or “us”) gathers and uses information, this applies to all information collected or submitted on Holopipe’s website, Holopipe App, and any other devices and platforms. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.

THE SHORT VERSION

Holopipe collects as little information as possible, uses that information to provide the service of the site and app, and only shares that information with third parties that assist in performing those services (e.g. sending notification emails that you request). We do not sell your information to third parties for commercial purposes (e.g. selling lists of email addresses).

GENERAL

Thank you for your interest in our website and our Services. Protecting users is important to us. We, Pointmedia are the controller according to the GDPR and therefore responsible for the data processing explained herein.

HOLOPIPE WEBSITE

To create an account on https://holopipe.com/, you must provide the following information:
Email address
Username
Password

Email addresses are used for logging in to the website, sending notifications that you request, and other customer support services. Public Profile Name is something you need if you want to share content with friends, family, coworkers etc.

Holopipe uses cookies on the website. Holopipe stores small files in the users browser to keep track of various settings/preferences, such as authentication information, over time.

HOLOPIPE APPLICATION

Information and content you provide. We collect the Content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Services, including when you sign up for an account, create or share Content, and commenting on other User Content. This can include information in or about the Content you provide (like metadata), such as the country and city where the app is used.

Connections. We collect information about the people, accounts, Content and groups you are connected to.

Your Content. We collect information about your uploaded Content. The Content ID number, name of file, Content type, creator, description, file size, who can see the Content, what group the Content is attached to, credit cost, and Content file name.

Things others do and information they provide about you. We also analyze content, communications and information that other people provide when they use our Services. This can include information about you, such as when others comment on your Content, or when someone else's Content you have commented on is being shared.

Device Information. As described below, we collect information from about the computers, phones and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Services, and we combine this information across different devices you use. Device attributes. Information such as the operating system, hardware and software version, available storage space, browser type, Holopipe version. Device operations. Information about operations and behaviors performed on the device. Identifiers. Unique identifiers, device IDs, and other identifiers. We use the TrueDepht api to track where the face is, to place holograms. This information is not stored or used for any other purpose. Data from device settings. Information you allow us to receive through device settings you turn on, camera or photos.

STRIPE/PAYPAL

If you sign up for Holopipe Premium, we store API tokens from Stripe and Paypal directly on Holopipe. Your billing information (shipping/billing address and credit card information) is securely stored on Stripe’s and Paypal’s servers, not Holopipe. Holopipe and Pointmedia does have access to this data - it is used to show you your current payment method as well as determine applicable taxes.

THIRD-PARTY ANALYTICS

We use Unity Analytics to track how you use Holopipe such as the types of Content you view or engage with, the actions you take, the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you’re using, and what Content you viewed, what tools you used, if you downloaded any public/personal uploaded Content for the purpose of operating the site and developing new features.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to run and improve the site and to provide customer support. We collect User Data in order to provide the Services to you, and it may be used for the purposes of developing, distributing, improving, marketing, and promoting the Services.

Information we share with third parties. We only share personal information with external parties to perform Holopipe functionality (such as sending email). We will not disclose your personal information to any third parties except as follows:

  • To partners engaged in Holopipe with their content. To share how many has viewed and shared their content in the Holopipe App.
  • When we have your consent to share the information

We may disclose or transfer your information in connection with the sale, merger, bankruptcy, sale of assets or reorganization of our company.

SECURITY

Holopipe uses a variety of techniques and technologies to take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. All website access must occur using HTTPS. Authentication is handled by the Cognito service provided by Amazon. We never store your password.

ACCESSING, CHANGING, OR DELETING YOUR INFORMATION

You can access or change your data or delete your account and personal data on the Holopipe account page. Where you click Delete me to delete your Holopipe account, or Show me to view the information we have stored about you.

Deletion of an account may take up to thirty days and backups may be around for another thirty days. Backups are only used for recovery.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data. In order to use our Services, Holopipe collects, stores and uses your information outside the European Union (“EU”). Without your consent to process your information outside of the EU, we cannot provide you with our Services. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account on the Holopipe account page.

We will keep your personal data as long as necessary to provide you with Services or to comply with applicable laws. You can delete your account and personal data by accessing your account on the Holopipe account page.

We provide you with tools on the Holopipe account page to exercise your rights to access, transfer, rectify or erase your personal data. CHILDREN

Our services are for users age 13 and over and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 and believe he or she has disclosed personal information to us please contact us at support@pointmedia.no.
